Welcome to our Guesthouse

You will find the Alpenhof in quiet and peaceful surroundings. The guesthouse is the last house in the street and cars will not be passing by. Wherever you look, you'll be astonished by the beautiful views on the surrounding mountains!

The forest is situated on our doorstep. You can make short or long hikes immediately from our place. Think about a nice hike to and through the Gerzkopf with its sheep. Many other short or long hikes are starting right from our guesthouse. The Salzburger Almenwegroute immediately passes by as well. Sankt Martin is in between stages 29 and 30 of the Almenweg, so our place is the place to regain your forces!

Mountainbikers will find two tracks immediately near the guesthouse. Additional routes are avalable throughout the entire Lammertal. In winter, the cross country skitrack is located right in front of the guesthouse. Sankt Martin's centre, where you will find a supermarket and other shops, neat restaurants and of course the organic swimming lake .

Sankt Martin am Tennengebirge is centrally located in the Salzburgerland and within the Tennengau region. The region offers a wide variety in (sport) activities, both in summer and in winter. Downhill skiing is possible in the village and the ski-areas of Dachstein-West, Flachau and Altenmarkt-Zauchensee are only within a 15-minute drive away.

In our guesthouse, you will find 14 non-smoking rooms, each with their own bathroom with shower and / or bath, toilet and balcony. We have single, double, triple, quadruple and family rooms for four persons. All rooms are renovated. There are still a couple of bathrooms we want to renew. What can you expect?

On arrival, you can park your car free of charge right in front of the guesthouse and immediately enjoy the view on the majestic mountains.

Our "Living" is the central part of our guesthouse, in where you can enjoy your breakfast. You will immediately feel at home and of course, the typical Austrian sitting corner piece is there for you to relax, play boardgames or just have a nice evening. You can also have a drink in our cosy bar. At the front you will find our terrace, on which you can enjoy the afternoon and evening sun as well as the fabulous mountain view.

The breakfast buffet offers a great choice on food and drinks. In addition, you can order a freshly prepared egg of your choice.

Free WiFi is available in the entire guesthouse.

Children will find a playroom in the basement with table tennis, table soccer, darts and the possibility to play music via their own device. And what is nicer for them to play around undisturbedly in the forest and neighborhood of our place, whilst you'll enjoy your well deserved drink on our terrace. Just remember that cars will not pass by our guesthouse! Should the weather be less good, your children (or yourself) can use the X-box, board games, table tennis or table football.

The hiking and mountainbike routes are endless in this area. Make your muscles supple again after an intense hike? Just use our Finnish sauna! Afterwards, relax in our quiet room or further train on the rowing machine.

Store your ski-equipment in the skiroom. The skiboot heater makes sure your skishoes will be dry and warm again in the morning.

Be welcome and bring your dog to our guesthouse. We have special dog-facilities .
